This weekend's performance
is fast approaching! The dancers looked amazing at the dress rehearsal and we
can't wait to see them shine during the actual performances (see line up here). Here's some information to help you prepare for their big
nights:
SATURDAY PERFORMANCE
CALL TIME (teens and young adult dancers only):
Please arrive on Saturday, 6/7 at
6:15 with full make up and hair already styled (any style is fine). The performance starts at 7 that evening.
SUNDAY PERFORMANCE
CALL TIME (all dancers):
Please arrive on Saturday, 6/8 at
3:30 p.m. Younger dancers should wear light make up on lips and cheeks and
older dancers should wear full make up. Any hairstyle is fine.
COSTUMES
Of course please bring all pieces of
your child's stage costume with you to the performance!
Please place any hair accessories that are part of the costume in the center or
right side of the dancer's head. Dancers should wear white or nude tights
(unless already wearing pants). High quality tights are still available in all
sizes at the studio for $5.
ADMISSION
Except for the dancers themselves and
children under the age of ten, each person attending the performance must come through the front door to
pay and get a hand stamp. (There are no actual paper tickets this year, but
hand stamps are required for admission.) Please pay what you can between $5 and
$10 per person. These funds make it possible for us to rent such a beautiful
theater for the performance!
PARKING
Steppin' Out is offering free parking in
the Mission/Dolores parking lot for both performances. Enter on Church Street
directly across from the main entrance of the Everett theater. Please note that
parking will not be available in the Everett lot.
DVDS
DVDs will be offered for each performance (Saturday or Sunday) at the
cost of $15 per DVD. Sign up this week in class, at the performance, or during the week of class following the performance. DVDs must be paid for at the time
they are ordered.
FLOWERS & REFRESHMENTS
Flowers and refreshments will be
available for sale on Sunday only. We'll have some truly beautiful
arrangements for you to chose from--please stop by and take a look.
Don't forget that we are still holding
all of our regular classes this week. Please make every effort to attend this
final opportunity to practice.
